Women who have had pregnancy induced hypertension and preeclampsia?
how did it start? what was your bp before you found out about it? how far along were you? were you induced and how far along were you? did your doctors do something about it right away or just kind of blow it of and tell you to rest even though it was getting worse? please share any experiences wether it was for you or someone you know of.
Black spots in vision with pregnancy induced hypertension?
I am 34 weeks pregnant and have been having pregnancy induced hypertension and just in the last few days have noticed black spots in my vision every once in a while. I look at the wall and it looks like there is a black dot on the wall and then it will go away and come back a little later. I do not know what my blood pressure is when this happens. My question is are these related to each other? I have heard of getting blurred vision, but not so sure about black spots. Any insight on this would be great. Thanks
Thickened heart wall, never had hypertension- why?
An xtra 'tall' verticle line on my ekg required an echokg. It showed a thickening in one of my cardiac walls. However, I've NEVER had hypertension my bp is usually 120 60 to 120 80. I'm 50. I did aerobics for years until age 40. Had a heart murmur as an infant, but as adult MDs said they couldn't hear the murmur, and that it was probably resolved in very early childhood. What else can cause this thickenig?
